Traveling and Arriving
1. The last thing I ate before leaving, Crispex cereal. Delicious btw

3. On the way to the airport!
4. Hanging out before I have to say bye and go through security :(

1. My first friend Maddie!! She's from Kearney, NE, and we got in touch when our company, ISA, sent out the contact list of all the students going to Spain. She just so happened to be in my exact same program, going to the same city and university!! We also came to find out we had the exact same flights; I had a buddy the whole way there! Love her!!!
2. Leaving Omaha
3. Got some Chinese during our layover in Chicago... and we almost missed our boarding!! Our flight was scheduled to board at 4:45 pm. We were eating and chatting and decided to head back to the gate at 4:05. Everyone was in line and the boarding was in process! Thank goodness we left when we did.
4. Bye Chicago
5. Pretty sunset
6. The inflight meal was so yum. Maddie and I didn't realize we were going to be served right away on the flight... oops double dinner.
7. Hanging out in Madrid airport. While Maddie and I were making our way to the terminal we needed, we met another girl, Abby. She's from Minnesota. So weird all of us Midwest girls are together lol. We had a couple hours in Madrid, and while we were waiting at our gate, we met a bunch of other students in ISA. We all kind of stuck together after that which was so cute and fun of us.
8. Finally made it to Seville! We had just gotten our bags and were waiting for other students.
1. Waiting/walking to our program's office. We took a bus from the airport to the ISA office. It was a little brutal hauling our luggage on the streets of Seville. Here we would be picked up by our host families!
2. Front of ISA office
3. Me, Maddie, and Abby waiting for our families
4. Random pretty street
4 - 7. Plaza de Espana. Stunning, gorgeous, breathtaking, I don't have the words. Just amazing
5 - 9. Street views
Not pictured. I arrived at my host mom's!! I met my host mom, Antonia (Toni for short). She gave me a little apartment tour, so precious. I met my roommate, Katy. She will be pictured on this blog ALOT lol. She's from South Carolina but goes to school in Tennessee. We share a room, closet, and bathroom. Very cozy lol. But I seriously love everything about it. Toni provides us with three meals a day and does our laundry. She speaks in Spanish to us (SUCH good practice). Katy is the sweetest person to walk the earth. So so fun and nice, I literally could not have asked for a better roommate, host mom, and overall situation.
10. Dinner at Baco. Later that night we had an ISA orientation at 6:30. Afterwards, me, Katy, and 4 other girls we had met went out to dinner. Ahhh so fun!!
